Diapers Needed Across Central Florida
In normal times, one in three families in Florida has limited access to clean diapers. As our economy recovers from the health crisis, many parents are faced with the difficult decision between buying groceries or diapers. HomeAid believes that all babies deserve clean diapers and that’s why our Builders for Babies Diaper Drive is so important.
Together, we provide HOPE!
The Builders for Babies Diaper Drive provides hope to thousands of families across Central Florida
Our Partners in this effort – front line heroes who help a lot of people in our community.
Hope Partnership in Kissimmee aims to provide a holistic continuum of care in order to end homelessness and poverty in Central Florida. They do this by connecting services and businesses with clients using evidence-based solutions and trauma-informed care practices in order to strengthen communities, empower our neighbors, and build hope. They are led by Rev. Mary Lee Downey who was named by the Orlando Sentinel as the Central Floridian of the Year in 2019. HomeAid Orlando is actively working on a remodeling project to increase bedspace for their clients.
The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is the largest provider of homeless services in Central Florida. Their mission is to transform the lives of homeless men, women and children by providing crucial services to end their crisis of homelessness. The Coalition operates two campuses, both located in downtown Orlando. More than 600 people receive services from the Coalition every day
The Christian Service Center (CSC) located immediately next to Exploria Stadium in downtown Orlando has a mission to prevent homelessness, combat poverty, cultivate self-sufficiency, restore hope and glorify God through the faithful provision of services that directly address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs for people struggling in Central Florida. HomeAid Orlando is actively working on repair projects on the CSC campus, and has been awarded a Bank of America, community partners in education grant to assist in work.
Our first-year goal = 100,000 diapers
That’s enough to keep 135 children in diapers for the next 4 months, and give their parents relief. With strong supporters like you, we can exceed this goal.
Help spread the word!
Let your partners, friends, clients and other passionate people know what you are doing to help the community. Many people in your network are vested in giving back to the community. Builders for Babies is a GREAT way to give back. Please invite your network to participate.
